Anita and Alfi’s story spans eight years of commitment, although it actually began long before that. They first met in high school—just a brief connection between a senior and a junior. Several years later, during their sixth semester of college, they crossed paths again, and this time it felt like fate had something lasting in mind.

Their earliest memory together was a meeting at a shopping mall in Solo. Over shared meals and unhurried conversations, they built a bond that grew slowly yet surely. Now, a year into marriage, they continue to discover new facets of each other each day, guided by the principle that open communication is essential for moving forward in life together.

About seven years ago, they stumbled upon Sejauh Mata Memandang on Instagram. The brand’s designs struck them as both unique and understated. A standout piece for them is the “Ayam Hias” shawl, which Anita chose to wear for her pre-wedding photoshoot—a nod to their preference for pieces that feel authentic and timeless.

In that same spirit, Anita and Alfi believe in being more thoughtful with fashion choices. Rather than accumulating more, they focus on items they genuinely love and can wear for a long time. Anita found inspiration in Nadia Mulya’s advocacy for a sustainable lifestyle, realizing that simple steps—like wearing what you already own and avoiding waste—can contribute to a bigger difference.
