Louisa Graciella and Andika Setia Budi are one of the lovebirds who got married two years ago. They are a couple who were brought together by friends, and then continued into a romantic relationship. This couple also prepared themselves very well before heading to the level of marriage. They had attended a premarital class which certainly helped them to better understand themselves, the purpose of living as a couple, and other aspects of married life. Sejauh (S): Tell us, how long have you guys been dating?
Louisa (L): We dated for about 2 years until we got married in March 2022.
S: Where did you guys meet?
L: I met him through our mutual friend. We had worked in the same office, but at different times (Andika resigned before I entered the office). Then our friend who worked in the same office posted a photo on Instagram with me, and it was noticed by Andika. Then he asked to be introduced to me. At first I didn't want to because of one reason or another, but because Andika was very persistent, I finally agreed to go on a date with him, haha...
S: Tell us about your first date!
L: Very classic, we went to a coffee shop and it turns out we had a great conversation. It didn't stop at the coffee shop, after that we continued to eat ice cream and buy boba drinks. I thought the first date was only 2-3 hours, turns out I spent almost the whole day with Andika!
S: How well do you know your partner?
L: Very well I guess. Before we decided to get married, we did quite a bit of "digging" into each other to see if our life principles were in line. And, before we got married, we took a premarital class that explored more aspects of ourselves, such as financial aspects, and how many children we each wanted.
S: Any relationship tips you want to share?
L: Trust and honesty, these two things go hand in hand. Sometimes if one partner is caught being dishonest, it will be difficult to give trust again. However, we both believe in second chances, so one wrong action doesn't make someone bad.
S: What are your matching couple items?
L: We don't have many couple items. We don't like things that are exactly the same (for example, clothes or t-shirts with the same picture). We'd rather buy something that's similar, like a similar model or similar pattern. Like the outfit from Sejauh Mata Memandang that we wore in our pre-wedding photos, it's not exactly the same, but it's similar.
S: How did you know Sejauh Mata Memandang?
L: I was walking around in Alun Alun Grand Indonesia and saw, "How come the patterns and models are so unique", I thought when I saw Sejauh's clothes in the store.
S: Why did you opt for the Sejauh Mata Memandang brand?
L: The patterns and models are very unique, different from the others.
S: What was your first impression of the Sejauh Mata Memandang brand?
L: Comfortable and of course I feel pretty! Haha...
S: Which item is your favorite?
L: Baju Santai. Perfect for chill and semi-formal. It's perfect to wear to the office on Fridays (my office has a semi-casual outfit every Friday).
S: What do you know about responsible fashion?
L: It's similar to sustainable fashion, isn't it? It's the production of garments/clothes that are more environmentally friendly, and pay more attention to the laborers/workers who make them.
S: Who inspires you to live a more sustainable lifestyle?
L: There is no specific person, but I realize that if we don't care about the earth, our children and grandchildren will not be able to enjoy the things we have now.

L: I really care! I'm trying my best to not use plastic and be more aware of food waste when cooking.
