Sejauh Mata Memandang and Greenpeace Indonesia Awakens Awareness of the Food Crisis through the Exhibition 'Kedai Kita’
Sejauh Mata Memandang collaborates with Greenpeace Indonesia and Plaza Indonesia to present the exhibition "Kedai Kita" in Plaza Indonesia, Central Jakarta, from December 1 to December 10, 2023. The exhibition, addressing the current climate crisis, highlights the impact on food production in various regions of Indonesia with aims to raise awareness and motivate real action in response to the climate crisis.
"Kedai Kita" is part of the series "Berhenti Basa Basi Buat Bumi," a campaign initiated by Greenpeace Indonesia responding to the need for concrete actions against the climate crisis. The collaboration hopes to engage the public in understanding and addressing climate-related challenges.
The exhibition features three main areas:
- "Kopi Tinggal Kenangan" focusing on the vulnerability of coffee crops
- "Warung Nasib Kita di Masa Depan" (WarNas), addressing threats to daily food items
- and "Warung Sejauh Mata Memandang," a pop-up store with circular designs.
The collaboration also includes activities at KALA in Kalijaga, South Jakarta, featuring a photo exhibition by Iklimku.org, an experience room depicting the journey of the climate crisis, and various engaging activities. The initiative provides visitors with an opportunity to experience the journey of the climate crisis that affects our dining tables, with a hope that it will encourage public participation and urges the government to take meaningful climate action.
