Growing Together: Fitria Ghaisani’s Family Life Rooted in Simplicity and Nature

For Fitria Ghaisani (Ghisa), life with her little family is all about the small things. She’s a full-time mom, spending her days with her husband, Dhafa, and their three-year-old son, Emir, making memories in between everyday routines.

Most days, they’ll find themselves at home, just hanging out. Playing games, watching TV, laughing over nothing much. Nothing fancy, but it’s those ordinary days that feel the most special. And when they do step outside, it’s usually somewhere close to nature. Emir, a spirited animal lover, finds endless joy in zoo trips and green open spaces. It’s become part of their rhythm, a way to reconnect.

With both sides of their family rooted in Kuningan and Majalengka, going back to their hometowns feels like pressing pause, breathing fresher air, slowing down, and just being together.

For Ghisa, quality time doesn’t need to mean planning something big. Sometimes it’s as simple as laying out food on the floor and calling it a picnic. Or ending the night cuddled up in bed, talking about the day and finding small things to be thankful for. Those are the things that stick around the longest.

Of course, there are bigger memories too, like traveling to new cities or even new countries. Watching Emir’s wide-eyed excitement at every new place, seeing him grow a little more with each trip, that’s the kind of thing that stays with her.

Sejauh Mata Memandang has quietly become part of their everyday life too. Their favorites are “Ayam-Garis” and “Rimba”. Ghisa appreciates that the patterns aren’t too common, you don’t see them everywhere, and they really suit their laid-back, simple style.

At home, they try to live a little more thoughtfully too. They separate their trash, they surround themselves with plants, and they teach Emir little by little why it all matters. It’s not about changing the world overnight. It’s about doing what you can, where you are, day by day.

For Ghisa and her family, happiness isn’t about chasing big moments. It’s about slowing down, staying close, and building a life that feels good from the inside out.
