Little Moments, Lasting Love: Shanilda’s Everyday Journey
Shanilda Salsabilla is a full-time digital marketer, a wife, and a mother to her 13-month-old daughter, Sigura Osheen Anas. Alongside her husband, Rafif Anas, who works in banking, they’re figuring out family life one day at a time while balancing busy 9-to-6 jobs.
Luckily, Shanilda gets to work from home twice a week. Those days mean more time with her daughter, and a chance to be fully present while still doing what she loves. On the side, she enjoys sharing her daily life on social media, everything from parenting tips and outfit picks to her current favorite coffee.
Sigura’s name carries a story close to their hearts. It was inspired by the band Sigur Rós whose concert in Singapore marked a turning point in their lives in 2022. That night, Rafif proposed to Shanilda who was dressed in her “Ombak Laut” from Sejauh Mata Memandang. From that moment on, they knew that their first child would be named Sigura.
As a family, they love spending time outdoors and trying new things. Rafif plays tennis three times a week, sometimes even teaching others. While he plays, Shanilda and Sigura tag along to enjoy the breeze (and of course, a coffee break).Weekends bring new discoveries: from cafe hopping and thrifting to capturing memories on film, then waiting for the photos to develop, frame by frame.
One of their favorite memories so far? Their first trip to Bali as a family of three. With no nanny along, it was just them figuring things out together. It wasn’t always easy, but it was special, filled with laughter, learning, and love.
Their family traditions are still taking shape, but one has already found a place: matching outfits for Eid. It’s a simple way to feel connected and celebrate together, and they hope to keep it going every year.
They have their own favorite Sejauh motifs. Shanilda picked the “Timun Mas” motif for Sigura, playful and sweet, just like her age. Her own favorite is “Flora” for its timeless beauty, while Rafif prefers the ease of “Tambal.” For Shanilda, wearing Sejauh is part of a deeper commitment: choosing clothing with care, finding joy in pieces she can wear again and again, and embracing a slower, more thoughtful way of living.
